Newton Town Football Club was founded in the early 1980's, and currently enjoys an excellent reputation as one of South Devon's largest junior football clubs.
The club holds the prestigious FA Charter Standard "Community Status" which indicates all players have access to high quality coaching, welfare support, first aid facilities and much more. There are well over 100 children currently playing football every week with Newton Town, ranging in ages from 4 to 16 years old.
Our club is committed to developing players in accordance with the FA's "Long Term Player Development" model, and all of our teams have a minimum of one FA Level One qualified coach. We also aim to have a Team Welfare Officer for each age group to aupport our Club Welfare Officer in ensuring all children have the best possible experience during their time with Newton Town.
Newton Town has a "football for all" philosophy policy meaning that children of all abilities are welcome across our age groups, and we always welcome enquiries from new players or their families. Full details of all age group teams and training arrangements can be found through this website.
The club is also currently developing its "Football in the Community" operation, focussing on supporting grass roots football and physical literacy skills through local schools with children at all age groups.
